Tips on how to best protect your child against UV rays: The best protection for children playing in the sun at the beach or the pool is to wear a UV protection bathing clothing. We recommend that the clothing cover most of the arms and legs, and also the middle section. If wearing UV clothing or not, the child should always have sun protection with at least 30+ SPF. Put on the sunscreen at least 30 minutes before going out in the sun to make sure it is effective. When you put on the first layer of sunscreen when you are already outside the effect of the protection take some time before it works, and the child can risk to get burned. Stay away from the sun, be in the shadows or inside, when the sun is on the strongest. It can be a perfect time for a time-out, snacking, or a lunch. Sunhat is likely important as the UV clothing. The skin on the head is also very sensitive. Our ears have thin skin, so these areas are very important to protect. Also put sunscreen on the ears and the neck for extra protection. When buying a hat we recommend a hat that is keeping ears away from the sun. Don't forget the feets, they also have sensitive skin and many people forget this area. Have some nice bathing shoes or socks, or make sure you put sunscreen here as well. Sunglasses is important to protect the child against damaged on the eyelid.
